Preventive Maintenance
Preventive maintenance is the best way to protect your investment. Think of the time you can save on making arrangements for preventive service and cleaning. Regular maintenance will prevent your fitness equipment from breaking down when you need it the most.

Jackson’s Fitness & Repair provides the very best in commercial and residential preventative maintenance and can set up a plan to ensure the long-term care and maintenance of all types and brands of fitness equipment.  Each preventative maintenance plan is designed specifically for the needs of the customer.  We offer bi-annual, quarterly, and monthly plans. 

Treadmill:  
• Remove the motor cover, vacuum and clean all dust and debris from the electronics, and inspect motor brushes.
• Lubricate the elevation assembly.
• Check for proper tension of the drive belt and address any wear issues of the drive belt.
• Properly lubricate or wax the walking deck and check for proper tension and alignment of the walk belt.
• Check the rollers for excessive wear.
• Calibrate the electronics and test for proper function of all components of the treadmil, (incline, speed, etc.) 
• Diagnose any other problems or noises that may be found.  
 
Elliptical Machine:
• Remove shroud covers, vacuum and clean around the electronics and or resistance mechanisms.
• Check the elliptical for proper tension and address any resistance issues.
• Check the elliptical drive belt for excess wear and proper tension.
• Lubricate wheels and elevation assembly..
• Calibrate the electronics and test the elliptical for proper function.
• Diagnose any other problems or noises that may be found.

Exercise Bike and Stairclimbers:
• Check for proper tension of drive belt or chain and check for damage or wear.
• Lubricate the cranks and any other parts that may require lubrication.
• Check the bike for proper tension and resistance.
• Calibrate the electronics and test the bike for proper function.
• Diagnose any other problems or noises that may be found.

Strength Pieces:
• Lubricate all weight stack guide rods.
• Test all cables for proper tension and check for damage or wear.
• Inspect pulleys and bolts.
• Check machine for proper overall function.
